Education: The streets of Coney Island in the 1950 on and the friendships that were forged there, like my freindships with Dexter Cottman, Joey Day, Howie Gresh, Charlie Denson and David Gorman and the lessons learned from my teachers at P.S#188,P.S#288, (yes, I remember your very kind heart Miss Harrison' You were my 2nd. grade teach at P.S.#188 and I can still see your nice kind face even after all these years)and Mark Twain J.H.S. are all located in Coney Island proper. Abe Lincoln H.S. is located just over the Islands natural coastline I do believe but many of Coney's finest have gone to high school there as I did. I also credit my everlasting fascination with nature and wildlife and books and reading. A trip to the Brooklyn Public Library on Grand Army Plaza across the street from Prospect Park always got my heart racing with thoughts of what I might find and helped illuminate my life on a regular basis.
